Greene County MO is BANKRUPT, or will be when thousands of illegally-detained people file claims and lawsuits. Some of them are US citizens. 

All but a few dozen were wrongfully detained by ICE, and were accepted by the Greene County Jail and wrongfully denied due process, legal counsel, translators, and more. The jail continues to accept more ICE detainees despite being overcrowded. 

When released, detainees are not given their clothing, cell phones, or other property taken when detained.

According to the Southern Missouri Immigration Alliance (SMIA):

“There are currently 393 people being held in ICE detention at the Greene County Jail in Missouri. 380 of those ICE detainees are being held without charges.
